This furnished upper level - 2 Story vacation condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths is located on the best end of Ixtapa Mexico's main beach. It's away from the huge hotels, however its within walking distance or a short bus or taxi ride to the large hotels. A bus can be caught across the small parking lot from the Ixtapa Iguana's entrance, which only costs 50 cents $U.S. to anywhere in Ixtapa and only 70 cents to go into Zihuatanejo. The bus runs about every ten minutes. The world class Ixtapa Marina with many wonderful restaurants is also just across the parking lot from the Ixtapa Iguana. It's a great place to dine and wander around in the evening. There are also a couple of little stores located in the marina. I don't golf (yet) , but the beautiful Ixtapa golf course is just a short walk away.

Close to the Ixtapa's Main Beach, Marina, Golf, Shops & Dining

We chose this two story third and forth floor condo in Ixtapa because of its superior views; it's closer to the beach than most units. The view from the living room and terrace is incredible, overlooking the pool and just beyond that the ocean with the waves breaking right there on the beach. The upstairs master bedroom with terrace has the killer view! You have a sweeping view of Ixtapas beach. The condo comes fully furnished and equipped. The downstairs bedroom has two single beds that can be put together by the housekeeper to make one large bed. It has a new split level air conditioner and a ceiling fan. The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed and also has an excellent split level air conditioner. Also in the living room, the couch makes into two single beds. There are two new TVs' and DVD players. We have left a small selection of movies for you to choose from. The kitchen is equipped with all that one should need. There is a new four-burner glass top stove, no units have ovens. Along with new dishes, there are some plastic plates and drink ware that can be taken poolside. The Iguana has a small private restaurant and bar by the pool, not open to the public.

Two days of housekeeping a week are included. The maximum occupancy is 6 people - sorry, no pets allowed anywhere in the complex. I have to say, I've stayed at some of the hotels on Ixtapa's beach, and while they are nice, they get so crowded with hundreds of people vying for lounge chairs, screaming kids and the like.
